Corner Gallery Presents Photographs of Amanda Reardan

April and May 2021; Thursday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Reardan’s work is hung on the gallery’s Young Artist Wall, a relatively new addition to its exhibits

“Most, if not all of the photos I take are nature-themed. In the large amount of time I spend outdoors, I always seem to find something worth taking a photo of, if only to remember a specific moment,” Amanda explains. “I would say the overarching message of all of my photos is to take the time to enjoy the world around us, especially the moments and sights that tend to disappear or become difficult to notice in our busy lives.”

As a sophomore at UC Davis, Reardon finds that photography is a way for her to unwind. She is currently double majoring in Sustainable and Agricultural Food Systems and Spanish.

“Photography is also a way for me to step back from my busy life as a college student and just enjoy the simple things that I sometimes forget about or overlook.”
